Stewart Undem
BA of Music -  California Baptist University, Riverside, CA
Stewart Undem, Trombonist and CEO of Stewart Undem Orchestras and Entertainment, LLC, is a graduate of California Baptist University Riverside. He is also a professor at both California Baptist University and California State University San Bernardino. This year marks his 29th season with the Redlands Symphony Orchestra. He has performed with the Stan Kenton All Star Band at Lincoln Center in Washington, D.C., and was one of the receipients for the Outstanding Performer Award. This was followed by a two year tour with the Harry James Orchestra at the bass trombonist, soloist and he was featured on Mr. James' final recording album. He has performed on the Merv Griffin Show at Caesars in Las Vegas and has backed artists including Frank Sinatra, George Burns, Joel Grey, Vickie Carr, Barry Manilow, Phyllis Diller and the Ink Spots. In addition, he has recorded with The Ventures, Helen Reddy as well as recorded and toured with the Ralph Carmichael Orchestra.
Stewart also spent some time playing for cartoon soundtracks at Hanna Barbara Studios, as well as for the Spike Jones Jr. Band. For those who know Stew and his sense of humor, you'll know that these were perfect jobs for him!
